For 48 years, a large open-air cinema has always been held in August at the edge of the forest in Weiterstadt. From August 15 - 19, 2024, international short films will once again be shown in the idyllic Braunshardter Tännchen and in the film tent on the football pitch. From newcomers to award-winners from major festivals, a variety of films of all genres from 6 continents will be shown on the screen.

There will also be live music, workshops for young and old, a Super 8 competition with an audience award, the winners of the 31st Rüsselsheim Film Festival will be shown, the AG Kurzfilm will be advising short film makers and there will be a Super 8 sofa cinema from the 1970s.

Admission is free (except for the Best of)!

Most of the movies are in english or with english subtitles but unfortunateley not all.
